In 2023, I travelled throughout France for a month.
We started out in Lyon, racking up over 16,000 steps on our first day exploring as we marvelled at being in this stunning city.
Our next stop was Pérouges, a quaint medieval walled village perched on a hill.
Saint-Rémy-de-Provence was our base for a few days, we day tripped from here to Marseilles, Pont du Gard, Parc Ornithologique to see flamingoes (!) and Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer seaside town.
Trigance was next, for our very own stay in a Château with gorgeous views and luxurious food.
Up into the mountains we continued, with a stay in Chamonix, a true highlight!
Annecy’s Venice like canal style old town and stunning freshwater lake captured our hearts.
More Château time! We truly had our fill in the Loire Valley.
Had to visit the region of Brittany! Mont Saint-Michel and St Marlo.
Finally, Paris and surrounds! Ending our holiday exploring the city, Monet’s garden and the palace of Versailles.
